Duty Free Zone in Mszczonów (DFZ) ministered by East-West Duty Center Co. Ltd., is the only one of its kind in central Poland. It was established upon the decree of the Polish Council of Ministers of July 18, 2000. Officially, the zone was opened in May 2001 when we had the opportunity to host representatives of the government, as well as local authorities.

DFZ in Mszczonów is a separated part of Polish customs territory. On this area, Polish and foreign entities can carry out any industrial, service and commercial activity, according to the provisions of the Polish Customs Law, except for the retail trade, at the same time taking advantages of customs and taxes suspension system.

The zone is strategically located about 40 km away from downtown Warsaw and at the crossing of the main national expressway from Warsaw to Katowice and the East-West TIR-truck route.
