Infrastructure

The Duty Free Zone in Mszczonow is located on a fenced area of 31,000 sq.m. Aside from the existing area the Administrator of the DFZ owns an adjacent plot of 150,000 sq.m. assigned for the second stage of the DFZ development. The plans for the additional area call for the construction of additional warehouses, production and assembly halls and offices. Next to the area for the DFZ expansion, there will be constructed a container terminal, center for consolidation and forwarding of bulk cargo, shopping and service center, a restaurant and a motel.

The infrastructure is the advantage, we have.

We have at our disposal:

• warehouses of area of 11 000 sq.m.,
• umbrella roofs and open yards,
• reloading equipment,
• production and assembling facilities, offices, staff and technical quarters.

All facilities in the Duty Free Zone in Mszczonow are equipped with all necessary utilities, installations and technical infrastructure. The site is fenced, lighted up and guarded 24 hours a day.

In the premises owned by the Administrator of the DFZ, on the site adjoining the border of the DFZ the seat of the Customs Office in Mszczonow was organised. This improved significantly customs clearances for entities carrying on an economic activity in the DFZ. The Customs Office started its activity on the new premises in July 2003.

In the DFZ four independent customs agencies are active:
CA Taksim-Pol, CA Geyer, CA Rusak Logistics, CA Interclo-Energomontaz-Polnoc S.A.

Services offered

The Duty Free Zone in Mszczonow provides following services:

• reloading of general and bulk cargo,
• storage of goods in warehouses and storage yards,
• processing and supervising customs and warehouse documentation,
• consulting services for companies storing goods in the area of the DFZ.
